It's been a while since I last did one of these. Speedlinking posts take a lot of time to put together and as we're currently expecting a second MiniCK in the next few weeks, most of my free time over the past few months has been spent taking care of the two current ladies in my life, leaving little time for long gaming session or the research needed to put together these Speedlinking posts.

The term “butterfly effect” itself is related to the work of Edward Lorenz, and is based in chaos theory and sensitive dependence on initial conditions, first described in the literature by Jacques Hadamard in 1890 and popularized by Pierre Duhem’s 1906 book. The idea that one butterfly could eventually have a far-reaching ripple effect on subsequent historic events seems first to have appeared in a 1952 short story by Ray Bradbury about time travel although Lorenz made the term popular. read the rest of this post»
Almost 2 years to the day, I have decided not to renew my subscriptions. I may be back, but for now I’m on a much needed extended leave. I’ll be maintaining back end updates to the site. I may come and take a peek at WiS when it’s released. Until and if then…

Hey everyone,
As some of you may or may not know, Facebook URLs became active a month ago for Facebook users. To limit on URL squatters, FB decided to make page admins with less then 1000 fans wait 30 days before allowing pages to have a custom URL.
They have imposed minimum limit of 100 fans on a page in order to create a custom URL. As you all are aware, I do have a brand with Dawn of ΞΛΞ (such as it is) and I would like to expand that out more.

Building on the success of our last EVE Blog Banter, with over 40 participants, I've decided to spice things up and have ourselves a little contest for this next banter.
