Competition
We asked contestants to write a short story about the following image:

Many entries were made and much judging went on! I think we should now just announce the winners.
First Prize of 2 PLEX awarded to: Kirith Kodachi for the story entitled "The Rifter". This story came in with a score of 71 out of a possible 75.
Second Prize of 1 PLEX awarded to Commander Ida for the story entitled "Silence". This story came in with a score of 70 out of a possible 75.
Third Prize of 1 PLEX awarded to Nakayme for the story entitled "A Charitable Donation". This story came in with a score of 68 out of a possible 75.
Fourth Prize of 1 PLEX awarded to Archus Vincenzo for the story entitled "Illusion Of Perfection". This story came in with a score of 67 out of a possible 75.
This was a maximum of 25 points over 5 categories that could be awarded by each judge making the maximum score per story 75. read the rest of this post»

Please write a short story of between 800 to 1500 words which include mention of this scene. So think of how you can entwine a Rifter with associated scenery into your story. It can be a humorous story, sad, thriller, the horror of the Sansha, personal revelation, a story of galactic import, whatever you choose.
1) We must be supplied with your email address, this is very important.
2) The story must be Eve related, i.e. Eve Online Fan Fiction.
