I've been following the tourney pretty closely as most of you may be as well and have been thoroughly enjoying the coverage provided by EvE TV.

spiralJunkie has been doing a great job, imho, of keeping the conversation going and keeping some of the commentators on track.

One of the funniest and revealing moments for me though was throughout last night's coverage eXceed got NO mentions at all until just prior to the fight. Which, you know, is cool and everything. If we are a relative unknown then what else could they do.

But the funny thing was Stavros. He practically frothed at the mouth when our match came up and his eyes started rolling at mention of our name!

Honestly, so much hate! lol

The commentary continued then all of a sudden turned to making excuses for losing. "KIAEddZ isn't there and they need a strong FC" etc. How odd if eXceed were unknown and very odd considering setups were not known.

Despite laying the groundwork for KIA's failure, out of all of them, only Tyrrax Thork gave us the benefit of the doubt and opted for us to win, even though he did have a silly hat on.

Then KIAEddZ practically gagged when our team showed Thoraxes but that turned to jubilation when it was apparent we didn't have any ecm drones.

Ah well, you can't win them all can you? We brought a good fight and to be fair, it was eXceed's first fight with more yet to come!
