Credit Crunch, get free gaming!
With many people feeling the pinch and markets tumbling all over the world, even the gamers markets will eventually feel the effects.
Recent moves by CCP to alter the way GTC's are sold (no 30 or 90 days cards/codes, just 60 day ones) and removal of Ghost Training have probably contributed to the recent email and video sent out by Shattered Crystals Marcus Eikenberry.
Bear in mind you can reverse the methods here and sell ISK to gain free gaming time...if the price is right of course!
Enjoy the video, and for the curious, here is the email:
Global economic problems affecting EVE players? With the global economic problems we have seen a rise in people trying to spend as little as possible. If you are in need of more ISK in the game this is an opportunity for you to help out your fellow player at the same time being able to purchase ISK through the official EVE gametime codes exchange for ISK.
We did a video on this feature when it was first released. (Video included in post)
The video explains how to exchange your gametime for ISK the officially supported way.
The gametime codes for ISK exchange is an excellent way for those who do not have extra funds to play the game to work for their subscription from within the game. For those who have extra funds and not enough time to place it's an excellent way to get ISK without the fear of being banned.
So if you need to know how to trade your ISK for gametime check out the YouTube video.
If you need ISK and want to help out your fellow players you can find 60 day ETC at our store: http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/code.php/eve_online/~27614

e.g. You want to learn something like large turrets which takes approx 20+ days, on the last day of your sub set it training and play with an alt character or something, then reactivate in 20 days and you have a skill trained "for free".
That's not possible now as training halts 3 days after a subscription payment ends.
