Get fit with #fitfleet

I'm not sure who's idea this was, whether it was @LiangNuren or @Mynxee but do you know something? It doesn't matter. Indeed, I don't think anyone is arguing!

What does matter is a realisation that some of the things CCP were saying at this years Fan Fest are true. The players make Eve and we are going to make it fitter this year and have some fun doing it too!

So a few of us in #tweetfleet got together and have formed a smallish group that use the #fitfleet tag. The idea is that we join each others Street Team to keep track of others progress and encourage each other.

RunKeeper is a free app for Android, IPhone and Windows Phone 7 phones and accepts input from other devices such as Garmins that tracks your activities. Whether you swim, run, walk, cycle or do anything else it really doesn't matter. You also don't need to worry about using GPS or not (such as gym work or not having a compatible device) as you can manually enter details on the website or via the app. No cheating though as in the end you are cheating only one person!

As long as you are doing something, enjoying it, offering encouragement to others in the #fitfleet you'll be welcome.
