I Think Therefore IM

Greetings all.

I am blown away by the number of downloads of Eve Instant Messenger so far! It has just exceeded 500 downloads and the number of test rooms on the default server number in the low twenties. So based on that I think the general uptake or experimentation with Eve IM is quite high at this early stage. Thank you.

One of the design philosophies of Eve Instant Messenger was that your privacy was paramount. To that end I created the application with the ability to use your own Jabber servers. With that in mind, I will not have any ability to track success other than the number of downloads, so if I appear to draw incorrect conclusions please bear that in mind!

Some plans on the table:
Less clunky design layout
Private Messenging and Buddy Lists
Option of alliance chat rooms if corp belongs to an alliance.

I hope you urge your corporations to use this extremely useful tool and I will continue to make improvements based on your suggestions. Those wishing to join the dev team please contact me.

Thank you for this program, its really useful and my corp are going to use it. We have a few members who play xbox and ps3 and an alarm is cool.
