IRC at StarFleet Comms - irc.coldfront.net

Hey all
We've got a chat client working on the site now. It is only available to registered members at present.

Why have a chat client at all I hear you ask? Well, you can access IRC chat via this site now. Sometimes you can't access IRC at work or you may not want to install a chat client. This site will suit that purpose.

The site client connects to the (in)famous coldront server that hosts the well known #eve-online, #eve-radio and #scrapheap chat channels to name just a few.

You can also use your own channels.

It's easy to use.

*Click on the IRC: Internet Relay Chat option in your navigation menu.

It presents you with your site username as an option.
NB: No spaces are allowed. You may change your default site username at any time in your account settings or you can adjust the name it shows you here on demand.

It then connects to the server and defaults to the #eve-online IRC channel.

Use standard IRC commands to change nick, open new channels etc.
