So. You have been playing Eve for a while now and you are sitting there in your Dreadnought thinking life is rosy. Maybe a little bored. Maybe wondering if there is more to the game than PoS Warfare and blobfests.

Maybe you are new to Eve and simply want to know where to start and have a good foundation of knowledge to build from.

The answer to your dreams is here, and it's been around since 2007. Agony Unleashed are famously known for their PvP courses. But unless you have been on one, you really don't know or maybe appreciate what they actually teach you and perhaps that's put you off.

I did have similar feelings but I've always felt that I should know more and learn more about how to play Eve. Don't get me wrong, you can learn a hell of a lot in your own corp and alliances by simply taking part. But sometimes the learning lacks structure and that's where Agony Unleashed come in.

It was with these thoughts playing around in my head that I signed up to the PvP BASIC course - now proudly displayed in my bio as BASIC 1906092100.

The course was to take 9 hours (omg) and consist of about 4 hours lecture and 5 hours roam. I have to say that it was the best 9 hours I've ever spent in Eve.

They provide course materials a week in advance of your actual course date so that you can learn the basics giving the instructor the opportunity to flesh out details during the practical.

You'll learn why the Rifter fit in the picture is wrong and you'll learn how to fit your ships for the job in hand. You'll learn Hydra fleet principles, how to scan effectively, how to use voice comms correctly and much, much more.

For any Eve pilot that wants to gain knowledge, introduce themselves to PvP or improve their existing PvP skills, I can heartily recommend spending a day with Agony. You don't even have to leave your own corp.

Awesome.
