Cleaning up the content
It's been a couple of weeks since I introduced the new facility of grabbing posts from Eve Online forums and making it so you can all rate them and produce a digest.
It's been working really well and despite the odd hiccup it's proven quite a hit! A few requests have been made that I've now implemented. Many of them were sparked by the recent Satellite Watch/keylogger spam hitting Eve-Online forums.
Today, I have recoded the Eve Online forum parser with additional features that will hopefully provide you with a much improved forum digest experience in future. There will be less posts but the overall content will hopefully be of better quality, subjectively.
If you notice a forum not being parsed and would like it added to the list, please let me know and I will consider it.
After monitoring throughput and voting activity, as of today, currently parsed are:
EVE Technology Lab
Corporation, Alliance and Organization Discussions
Features and Ideas Discussion
Science and Industry
EVE Fiction
Warfare & Tactics
Missions & Complexes
Crime and Punishment
Assembly Hall
Many more features are on the way as soon as soon as I have time (I envisage another couple of weeks before the next phase) but before that I really need to get in game and start playing or I risk a stern message from my corp leaders or worse, forgetting how to fight!
This will also allow plenty of opportunity for you to make any suggestions too so that I might implement them into this next phase, phase three.
