Eve Online Instant Messenger - Alliance Update
I'm just putting the finishing touches to the next version of the Eve Online Instant Messenger.
It was fairly easy to do but I also wanted to make it a bit less clunky looking and unfortunately that's the bit I have difficulty with. I must have a bad eye for design or something!
Anyway, at some point this week you can look forward to version 1.0.1.01 which introduces the choice between entering a Corporation only chat room or a new Alliance chat room.
So now an entire Alliance can have this application sitting in their system trays ready to alert, visually and/or audibly, when there is a Call to Arms. Handy for when the bulk of you are on the XBox or PS3, lol!
I have high hopes that this will make Eve IM popular and that you all get some value from it.
If anyone wants to help on the project then by all means let me know.
Meanwhile, I must get back to my VB for Dummies book and figure out where the chapter on making something look cool and awesome is.
