Max, do you have a goddamn opinion?

Yes.

Although I notice that we are very much in the early stages of the campaign, with many members (myself included) who haven't yet been confirmed as candidates already stomping the campaign trail!

This is going to be a very exciting race and many people will likely get caught up in the whole thing.

This is what CCP wants to happen and it's a good thing. It's interesting, it's a diversion certainly but it's also involving a large proportion of the playerbase, with a large number of dissenters too!

The metagaming is already starting on the Eve Online forums with pacts, swipes at "the nice guys" and all other political manouverings happening. This is also a good thing, or at least expected.

Some people have created massive lists of things they would change and some, well one, has taken the very brave stance of basing his campaign on Self Destructing Outposts. This is something I would have thought more suitable to be brought to the CSM's for discussion, and if taken forward then to the CCP Council...

What happens if the Self Destructing Outposts are turned down? Do we then have a CSM member with nothing left to say?

Yes. I have opinions and I will reveal them whenever you ask. I also plan to put a quick hitlist of issues I see but I do not have fixes for problems. I have some ideas yes, but so do hundreds of other people.

That is what the Council of Stellar Management is for. To get those ideas to CCP and not to further individual agendas.

p.s. I am away for a few days travelling - if you email/pm/evemail/leave comments, I will respond on my return. Thank you.
